When can I access the unit?

Once you have signed a lease you can access anytime during normal access hours which are 6am-10pm.

How much notice needs to be given before I move out?

All contracts are month-to-month. However, we do require a 30-day notice before you move out.

What type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent a space?

We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport).

Do I need to sign a long-term lease?

No, we rent on a month-to-month basis unless the customer requests otherwise.

How do I make a payment?

1. By check or money order by U.S. Mail or in the drop box in the office door.

2. You may also sign up to have payments automatically deducted from your credit card/savings/checking account monthly.

3. Website available for payments 24 hours/day.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Checks, money orders, VISA, MasterCard, and cash.

Do you sell boxes and storage supplies?

No, but local retailers such as Lowes and Home Depot have good selections of moving supplies. Lowes has locations in Harrisonburg and Staunton; Home Depot has locations in Harrisonburg and Waynesboro. Boxes are usually $1-2 each.

How do I know how much storage space I will need?

You can either use our Storage Calculator on our website or call our manager for assistance.

Are there any items that I am NOT able to store?

Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. No food or hazardous materials. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.

Does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gates?

No. At the time of signing you will choose a 5-10 digit pin code that will allow you access to your unit during normal access hours.

Do you have handcarts and dollies available at your facility?

No, look at big box stores. These are great to have for $30-50.
